Why the FC-M Echo+
A single-tube monocular built around a Photonis Echo+ P45 White Phosphor intensifier: FOM 2200+, autogated, one-button, under 250 g without battery, 40+ hours on a single CR123A. Designed, assembled and individually tested in Tallinn, Estonia.

Without a J-arm or bridge, the FC-M sits on your forehead - not in front of your eye.
Build it as a kit and the add-ons come off automatically: -20% on every mount, bridge and adapter, -10% on a second optic. Applied in your cart, no code.
The dovetail interface on top of the housing needs a J-arm (one device) or a bridge (two devices) to drop the FC-M to eye-level. Pick one below, or confirm you already have one.

FAQ
What is FOM?
FOM = Figure of Merit, the product of SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) and resolution. It's the single cleanest number to compare night vision tubes. We don't stock or ship Photonis Echo+ units below FOM 2200.
Is the FC-M night vision or thermal?
The FC-M is a night vision device - it amplifies ambient light. The Falcon 640+ V2 is a thermal device - it sees heat. Many users run both side-by-side on a QDB bridge (Combined configuration above) so they can ID with night vision and detect with thermal at the same time.
What do I need to mount the FC-M to a helmet?
The FC-M has an integrated dovetail on top of the housing. You need two things on top of it: a QDM adapter (or QDB bridge if running two tubes) that snaps onto the dovetail, and a dovetail helmet mount like the UDAPT F25 that lives on your helmet shroud. Click and lock - no tools.
Will the FC-M work with my existing helmet mount?
Yes - any industry-standard dovetail helmet mount accepts the QDM (single) or QDB (bridge). UDAPT F25 is our default recommendation in the bundle, but Wilcox G24, Cadex, Argus Dovetail Mount, or any general dovetail mount will hold the QDM/QDB the same way. If you already own one, untick the F25 in Build Your Kit and you're set.
Does the FC-M work through glass and windows?
Yes. The FC-M works through standard glass and windows.
Will the FC-M work in complete darkness?
It depends on the environment. In a windowless basement with no light source, the device will struggle and you'll see a grainy image. Outside in the woods at night you almost always have something to work with - starlight, moonlight, or light pollution reflecting off cloud cover - and the FC-M will give you a clear picture. If you need to operate in genuinely zero-light environments, pair the FC-M with a Falcon 640+ V2 thermal (Combined build above).
Can I mount the FC-M on a rifle?
No - the FC-M fits the QDF with intentional play so it can't hold zero on a rifle. Recoil transmitted through a rigid weapon mount can permanently damage the intensifier tube, so we engineered the wobble in to prevent customers from rifle-mounting a head-worn unit.
What is the 6-month re-waterproofing service?
It's a re-waterproofing service: full nitrogen purge, fresh o-rings, lubricants, pressure test, refreshed QC chart. With it, the FC-M holds its full 20 m / 30 min rating. Skip it and we still guarantee 2 m / 30 min - the housing is watertight by design. Carried out by Falconclaw or a Falconclaw-approved dealer. Email info@falconclaw.eu to book.
How do I make a warranty claim?
If you have a warranty issue, send us an email at info@falconclaw.eu with your order number and a short description of the problem (plus a photo if it's a physical issue). We'll take care of it from there.
