Description
GOOD OLD CLASSIC BAYONET MOUNT
The “Rhino” Mounting Arm, designed by Norotos, serves as the standard-issue USGI articulating NVG helmet mount. It positions the night vision device directly in front of the operator’s eyes and can be flipped up over the helmet into a stowed position when not in use. The name “Rhino” comes from its distinctive look when flipped up. This mount offers both fore/aft travel and tilt adjustment.
The Rhino Mount attaches to any helmet shroud with a universal interface, including standard MICH and PASGT shrouds, the OpsCore VAS Shroud, the Wilcox L4 One Hole Shroud, and the Norotos Universal Shroud. It is compatible with any night vision device or adapter that has a standard bayonet interface. The arm moves with a “force to overcome” motion, allowing the user to push the device up or down into position easily.
