The QDB lets you dual-mount thermal + NV, NV + NV, or thermal + thermal on your helmet — same QDA interface as the QDF and QDM, so you can transfer devices between rifle and helmet in seconds.
The QDB is just the bridge. To attach devices, you’ll also need a Falconclaw QDA for each one — sold separately. For a thermal + NV setup, that’s two QDAs: one for each device.
The QDB
Why dual-mount?
NV and thermal each cover what the other misses. Running both on the same helmet means you don’t have to choose — switch in the moment, or use both at once with the QDB’s articulating stops.
- Short to mid-range identification
- Detail clarity
- Navigation
- Passive and active aiming
- Tactical maneuvers
- Driving
- Long-range scanning & detection
- Usable in zero-light conditions
- Heat signatures can’t hide
- Works through rain, fog, snow, sandstorms
- See through smoke
Helmet Compatibility
To attach the QDB to your helmet you need a dovetail mount fitted into your helmet’s shroud. The QDB clips into any standard dovetail mount that fits these shrouds:
Recommended Helmet Mount
We recommend the UDAPT F25 — combat-proven, made in Ukraine, fits standard NVG shrouds.
One-handed force-to-overcome flip — no buttons, gloves-friendly. Infinity-tension system eliminates wobble even after wear. STANAG 2902 shroud compatible.

Pick the QDA for each device you want on the bridge. For a dual-mount build you’ll need two QDAs — one per device. Common pair: a QDA — Falcon 640+ V2 on the thermal side, a QDA — PVS-14 on the NV side.
Same QDA also fits the PFN640+, PFN384+, and RH25 V2. Falconclaw’s flagship thermal family.

Model-specific QDA for the J-YM thermal. Bolts to the device, snaps into the QDB.

Model-specific QDA for the Skeet IR thermal. Bolts to the device, snaps into the QDB.

Requires a minirail interface running through the middle of the device. Off-centre rails will still fit the QDB mechanically, but the thermal won’t line up with your other device on the bridge.

Model-specific QDA for the Theon device. Bolts to the device, snaps into the QDB.

QDA for the MUM-14 night vision monocular. Pair with a thermal QDA on the other side of the bridge.

The QDB lives on your helmet. The QDF (flip-to-side mount) lives on your rifle. When you have both, you can swap any device between helmet and rifle in seconds — same QDA, same zero, no tools.
90° flip-to-side mount for the rifle. Same QDA interface as the QDB, so any device on your helmet bridge can be transferred to the rifle in seconds. 1.63″ / 41 mm optical centerline. 66 g, made in Estonia.

The QDB on a real helmet build — dual-mount thermal + NV in the field.
IPD stops keep zero
Flip devices out, flip them back. Adjustable IPD stops return them to the same position every time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Just the QDB bridge. To attach devices you also need a Falconclaw QDA for each one — sold separately. For a dual-mount build, that’s two QDAs (one per device). The QDA bolts to the device and gives it the dovetail interface that snaps into the QDB.
The QDB clips into any standard dovetail helmet shroud — that includes the Wilcox G24, Cadex, Argus, and most other NVG shrouds on the market. If you’re running a non-standard shroud, contact us with the model and we’ll confirm fit.
Yes — the QDB is configuration-agnostic. Run NV+NV for stereo depth perception, thermal+NV for the most common dual-mode build, or thermal+thermal if your mission needs it. You just need the matching QDA for each device.
Yes. The QDB has integrated, adjustable IPD stops — once you’ve set your inter-pupillary distance, both devices return to the same position every time you flip them down.
Yes — that’s the whole point of the QDA system. The QDB, QDF (rifle flip-to-side mount) and QDM (J-arm) all use the same QDA interface. Pop the device off the helmet bridge, snap it into the rifle mount — in seconds, no tools.
Designed and manufactured in Estonia. Aluminium body + stainless steel hardware, finished with MIL-A-8625 type III hard anodising.
