Compatibility
The FTO ships with a PVS-14-type lens-mount bracket that fits most standard NV monoculars and binoculars. Two devices need a separate special bracket (sold separately).

It’s a thermal overlay for your existing night vision device — not a standalone NV. The FTO clips onto the front of your PVS-14 / DTNVS / FC-B and overlays a 640×512 thermal image on top of what your NV already shows. You see both at once: the NV image plus the heat sources.
The included PVS-14-type lens-mount bracket fits the PVS-14, DTNVS, and FC-B. The PVS-31 and GPNVG require a separate special bracket (sold separately). For other devices, contact us with your model and we’ll confirm fitment.
About 3 hours on a single CR123A (3V) cell installed internally, or up to 10 hours on the included external 2×18650 battery pack. The flip-up sensor auto-powers the unit on and off when you flip it into and out of view, so idle time doesn’t cost you runtime.
Highlight: only the warm parts of the scene are rendered, the rest disappears so heat sources pop against your NV image. Outline: just the edges of warm targets, minimal visual clutter — useful when your NV image is already busy.
Submersible to 1.5 m for up to 30 minutes. Operating temperature range −40 °C to +60 °C. The flip-up sensor is sealed and the connectors are weather-rated.
No — the FTO needs an objective lens to focus the image, and one isn’t included in the box. It can’t be used as a standalone device out of the box.
If you need a standalone thermal, we recommend the Falcon 640+ V2 bridged with an NV monocular — you get the same fusion capability when bridged, plus the thermal works during the day too.
