An objective lens cap, or day cap, for PVS-14 optics. It protects the front lens when the device is stowed and lets you run a daylight function test without risking the tube.
Press-fit day cap
Press-fits onto the PVS-14 objective lens housing to shield the glass when the device is not in use.
Daylight-safe pinhole
A small central hole lets in just enough light to function-test the device in daylight without damaging the image intensifier tube.
