A 3 mm polycarbonate sacrificial lens built into a Butler Creek flip-open cover, made to protect a night vision objective through force-on-force training. The lens withstands up to 5 joules of impact. No-button version, sold per unit.
Integrated sacrificial lens
A 3 mm super-strong polycarbonate lens sits inside the Butler Creek cover, taking impacts so your objective does not.
Stops training rounds
Rated to 5 joules: it withstands 5.56 and 9 mm FX / Simunition rounds and a 0.20 g airsoft BB at 220 m/s.
Fits common NVGs
Sized for PVS-14, DTNVS and RNVG objectives.
Flip open to use
Flip the cover down to shield the lens, flip it up to run. Also guards against branch and brush scratches.
